Initial Intake Appointment (90 min.) $130

Individual Counseling session (55 min.) $110

Couples Counseling session (55 min.) $125

Payment is collected at the end of each session. Clients will be provided monthly payment summaries in order for clients to file for insurance reimbursement if desired. Casey offers services on a sliding scale for a limited number of clients. Please call for more information on this program.

Insurance

Casey accepts BCBS of TX* and is otherwise an out of network provider and her services are eligible for reimbursement from most health insurance companies. Clients can determine if he/she has “out of network” benefits by contacting his/her insurance company directly to ask if they reimburse for out-of-network mental health services with the billing code of 90837 (Individual Therapy). Some specific questions regarding mental health coverage with insurance companies include the following:

• Is there a deductible?

• How many visits per year are covered?

• Is authorization required?

• Which services are covered (e.g., couples therapy, group therapy, phone sessions)?

You have the right to pay for your services without seeking insurance reimbursement in order to avoid the problems described above including having a mental health diagnosis shared with your insurance company.

*For those with BCBS of TX, please bring your insurance card on your first session. It is also helpful to know any co-pay, co-insurance or deductible amounts for mental health services within your individual plan. Please work to gather this information prior to our first session.
